STEAMEDBUN Toddler Backpack Leash

The STEAMEDBUN toddler backpack leash combines a small daypack with a detachable anti-lost tether for children aged one to three. Made from polyester in an orange, green and blue colourway, it measures 9.5 by 7 by 3.5 inches and weighs very little. A YKK zipper with easy-pull tabs secures the main compartment, a front pocket and two mesh side pockets. Adjustable shoulder straps and a chest buckle keep the pack centred on a moving toddler.

Suits toddlers needing close supervision outdoors

Designed for parents who want hands-on security in busy places such as airports, parks or shopping centres. The adjustable leash lets a child explore while staying within reach, and the chest buckle prevents the shoulder straps from slipping off. Not intended for children over three years old or for carrying heavy loads; the single main compartment holds only a few nappies, a snack and a small bottle. Buyers needing larger capacity or a pack for school-age children should consider a different style.

9.5 x 7 x 3.5 inch dimensions define capacity

The pack’s external measurements of 9.5 by 7 by 3.5 inches set the hard limit on what fits inside. One main compartment, a front pocket and two side mesh pockets accommodate a toddler’s daily essentials such as a drink bottle, a couple of nappies and a snack. If the required items exceed this volume, the backpack will not close properly.

Questions about this item

What shoulder-strap length range does the 9.5 in backpack cover for my 1-3 year old?

The shoulder straps adjust to fit toddlers aged 1-3, and the chest buckle keeps the harness centred during walks.

Will the 3.5 in deep main compartment still hold a bottle if I keep using an older insulated sleeve?

The mesh side pocket stretches to hold a bottle or umbrella, so an extra sleeve can stay in the main compartment alongside diapers and snacks.

How can I confirm the YKK zipper and leash clip are working before we leave the house?

Zip each compartment fully — YKK teeth should glide without snagging — then tug the leash clip; it must lock audibly and not release until you press the buckle.
