The STEAMEMO GS105 provides five 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports in a desktop metal enclosure. It is aimed at small offices, home labs or gaming setups that need basic managed features without rackmount hardware. A power adapter is included for immediate deployment.

Smart management limited to 15 VLAN groups

Configuration is performed through a browser-based UI or the supplied management software. IEEE 802.1Q VLAN support stops at 15 groups, and there is no command-line or SNMPv3 access. Buyers who need deeper segmentation, stacking or Layer 3 routing must look elsewhere.

Five copper Gigabit ports with no fibre uplinks

All five ports are fixed RJ45 copper running at up to 1000 Mbps. There are no SFP or SFP+ cages for fibre uplinks, so the switch cannot connect to a backbone over optical cable. This makes it unsuitable for installations that require long-distance or high-speed uplink paths.
