Questions about this item

Does the 664-CST-SW-BRN cover generate any heat or noise when installed in a floor box?

The polycarbonate cover is a passive component with no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no heat or noise during continuous use.

What existing floor box must I already own for this cover to fit?

It is designed specifically for 664 Series floor boxes, so you need a compatible 664 series box installed in the floor.

Will the brown polycarbonate finish match older 664 series boxes that have yellowed over time?

The cover carries a standard brown finish; colour consistency with aged installations will depend on the condition of the existing box.
