Floor Box Cover for 68 Series

This Steel City cover fits the 68 series floor box and provides a single-gang opening for audio or video accessories. The polycarbonate construction resists impact and wear in floor-level installations. It includes a carpet flange that sits flush with the finished floor surface. The brown colour matches common commercial carpet tones.

Compatibility and Mounting Check

Verify that the existing floor box is the 68 series before ordering this cover. The round shape and single-gang layout must match the box opening and the device you plan to install. Confirm the flange will clear the carpet thickness used in the space. The cover carries UL E11461 listing for code compliance.

Build Quality and Daily Use

Polycarbonate material handles foot traffic and cleaning equipment without cracking. The integrated carpet flange hides cut edges and prevents tripping on raised carpet seams. A screw-down design keeps the cover secure while allowing removal for device changes. The brown finish hides scuffs in high-traffic areas.
