Product Identity

The SteelSeries 64115SS Shift Medal of Honor Edition is a wired USB gaming keyboard built for players who want dedicated command keys mapped to the Medal of Honor experience. Its black chassis and eight programmable function keys target competitive gamers seeking faster access to in-game actions without memorising complex key combinations.

Thermals Noise Power

As a passive wired input device the keyboard draws minimal power directly from the USB port and produces no audible noise or measurable heat during normal operation. The three adjustable leg angles let users set a comfortable typing slope without adding any active cooling or power requirements to the system.

Upgrade Context

This keyboard replaces a standard office or entry-level gaming board that lacks game-specific hotkeys and macro support. The jump is worthwhile when a player wants labelled Medal of Honor binds and eight dedicated macro keys for quicker reaction times, but it does not serve buyers who need wireless freedom, mechanical switches or per-key RGB customisation.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SteelSeries 64115 Shift keyboard and what step is often missed?

Connect the USB cable to a Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Mac OSX port; the step often missed is enabling the 8 programmable hotkeys in the SteelSeries Engine software so the Medal of Honor key binds become active.

What maintenance or replacement will the 64115 keyboard need over time?

The wired USB keyboard has no batteries or user-serviceable switches; only occasional cleaning of the black keycaps and checking the cable for wear are required.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions on the 64115 Shift?

The three-position leg adjustment is the first physical limit; once the highest tilt is set, no further ergonomic change is possible without an external wrist rest.
