Replacement Dongle for Aerox 9

This USB-C dongle and adapter set restores the 2.4GHz wireless link for the SteelSeries Aerox 9 mouse. It is not compatible with any other Aerox models. The package contains only the dongle and adapter. No extra cables or accessories are included.

Stable 2.4GHz Connection

The dongle re-establishes the low-latency 2.4GHz link used by the Aerox 9. It maintains consistent throughput during extended gaming sessions. No drivers are required for basic operation. The USB-C interface plugs directly into modern ports.

Low Power Draw

The adapter draws minimal power from the host USB-C port. It adds no active cooling and produces no audible noise. The compact black housing fits alongside other ports without blocking them. Normal use has no thermal impact on the system.

Questions about this item

Does the 2.4GHz dongle draw enough power to warm up the USB-C port during all-day use?

The dongle is a low-power 2.4GHz receiver and does not generate noticeable heat in the USB-C port during extended sessions.

What must I already own for this M00019TX dongle and adapter set to work?

You need a SteelSeries Aerox 9 Wireless mouse; the dongle pairs only with that model and the adapter simply converts the USB-C plug to a standard USB-A port.

Will this replacement dongle work if I keep using an older Aerox 3 or Aerox 5 mouse?

No, the M00019TX is engineered exclusively for the Aerox 9 and will not pair with any other Aerox model.
