Flagship Esports Keyboard

The SteelSeries Apex Pro is a full-size wired keyboard built for competitive players who demand per-key actuation control. Its OmniPoint HyperMagnetic switches let you tune every press from 0.1 to 4.0 mm across 40 precise levels. Rapid Trigger technology resets keys instantly for repeated inputs without full release. A 100 million keystroke lifespan and full N-key rollover back the performance claims.

Aircraft-Grade Aluminium Frame

A rigid 5000-series alloy top plate and double-shot PBT keycaps resist flex during intense sessions. IP32 dust and water resistance protects against minor spills and debris. The detachable memory foam wrist rest and three-level adjustable tilt support long-term comfort. Three-way cable routing keeps the braided USB Type-C connection tidy on any desk layout.

OLED Smart Display Integration

An onboard OLED screen shows profiles, settings and system info without alt-tabbing. Five stored profiles switch instantly for different games or work tasks. A tactile volume roller and per-key PrismSync RGB lighting add quick media control. Plug-and-play USB 2.0 connectivity works across Windows, macOS, Xbox and PlayStation 5 without extra drivers.

Questions about this item

What USB standard does the keyboard use and what does that limit?

The keyboard connects via USB 2.0, which is sufficient for its 0.7ms response and 100M-keystroke switches without needing higher bandwidth.

What physical space and mounting does the 104-key aluminium frame require?

The 5000-series aluminium top plate measures full-size with a 104-key layout and includes three-level adjustable tilt feet plus three-way cable routing channels underneath.

How do I install the keyboard and which step is often missed?

Plug the braided USB-C cable into a USB 2.0 port, attach the detachable memory-foam wrist rest, then use SteelSeries GG software to save up to 5 on-board profiles so settings persist without the app running.
