Compact 60% wireless esports keyboard

The SteelSeries Apex Pro Mini Wireless is a 61-key keyboard built for competitive FPS players who want maximum mouse space without cables. Its tri-mode connection covers 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.0 and a detachable USB-C wired link for tournament flexibility. OmniPoint 2.0 HyperMagnetic switches let you tune every key from 0.2 mm to 3.8 mm actuation. Five on-board profiles store your settings for instant recall.

Tri-mode limits and battery reality

The 2.4 GHz link promises lag-free play but caps battery life at 30 hours with default lighting; Bluetooth 5.0 extends that to 40 hours at the cost of higher latency. A wired USB-C connection removes both limits yet tethers you to the host. Rapid Trigger operates at 0.7 ms on every mode, though per-key 0.14.0 mm adjustment and 11× response gains rely on the Windows or macOS 10.13+ SteelSeries Engine software. Not all software features are supported on Mac OS X.

Aircraft-grade aluminium frame and daily use

A rigid 5000-series aluminium top plate resists flex during aggressive keystrokes, while double-shot PBT keycaps withstand shine over a 100 million keystroke lifespan. Three-level tilt feet adjust typing angle without extra accessories. The included wireless extension adapter helps position the dongle clear of USB 3.0 interference. Per-key PrismSync RGB and full N-key rollover remain active in every connection mode.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.0 wireless mode for the lowest latency?

Use the 2.4 GHz dongle for the fastest 0.7 ms response; Bluetooth 5.0 is convenient for multi-device pairing but adds latency.

What does the 0.7 ms Rapid Trigger figure mean during actual gameplay?

It is the keyboard's internal scan-and-report speed; the OmniPoint 2.0 switches register a keystroke and send it to the PC in under a millisecond.

Does the USB-C wired connection still deliver the same 0.7 ms speed as the 2.4 GHz link?

Yes, the detachable USB-C cable uses the same Quantum 2.0 transmission for identical 0.7 ms response when wired.
