Compact Wireless Gaming Keyboard

The SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL WL (2023) is a tenkeyless keyboard built for competitive players who want adjustable actuation. It uses OmniPoint 2.0 switches that let you set the actuation point from 0.2mm to 3.8mm in 0.1mm steps. Dual wireless gives you 2.4GHz or Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity with up to 37.5 hours or 40 hours of battery life respectively.

Simple Wireless Setup

Pair the keyboard via the included 2.4GHz receiver for low-latency play or switch to Bluetooth 5.0 for multi-device use. The compact 60% layout saves desk space but removes the function row and navigation cluster, which can disrupt workflows that rely on those keys. The OLED display and 2-in-1 action keys require SteelSeries GG software for full customisation.

Check Layout And Region Compatibility

This unit carries a US English layout and firmware intended for the Japanese market, so on-screen language and default settings remain in Japanese. The hardware is rated for 100V input, so verify your local voltage or use a suitable transformer. Warranty coverage is not supported outside Japan, so factor that into your purchase decision.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the OmniPoint 2.0 switches are registering at the 0.2 mm actuation point I set?

Use the SteelSeries GG software to confirm the actuation setting reads 0.2 mm and test each key; the OLED display will show the active profile and actuation value in real time.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The keyboard, USB-C charging cable, 2.4 GHz wireless dongle and keycap puller are included; no separate purchase is required for basic wireless operation.

Should I choose the 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth 5.0 mode for the longest battery life?

Bluetooth 5.0 delivers up to 40 hours per charge versus 37.5 hours on 2.4 GHz, so pick Bluetooth 5.0 when maximum runtime matters.
