Designed for PlayStation and Multi-Platform Play

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5P is a wireless gaming headset built for PlayStation, Windows, Switch, VR and mobile devices via USB-C. It delivers a 20-22000 Hz frequency response through 36 Ohm neodymium magnetic drivers with 93 dB sensitivity. The bidirectional noise-cancelling microphone captures at 100-10000 Hz using a 32 kHz/16-bit chipset. Weighing 1.61 lbs, it targets players who want one headset across several systems.

Upgrade from Basic Stereo or Single-System Headsets

The jump is worth it when you need simultaneous 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with Quick-Switch toggling, plus 100-plus game-specific EQ presets managed through the Companion App. Tempest 3D Audio support adds positional detail on PlayStation. Battery life reaches 50 hours on 2.4 GHz and 60 hours on Bluetooth, with 15-minute fast charging providing six hours of use. Buyers who only use one platform or prefer wired simplicity will not use the dual-wireless advantage.

Straightforward USB-C Dongle Setup

Plug the compact USB-C dongle into the console or PC, power on the headset and the 2.4 GHz link pairs automatically. Tap the Quick-Switch button to move between the dongle and a Bluetooth 5.3 device. The fully retractable ClearCast 2.X microphone mutes when stowed. On-ear controls handle volume, power, mute and mode switching without menus. The 40 ft wireless range covers typical rooms; interference from other 2.4 GHz devices is the most common cause of dropouts.
