Built for competitive FPS

The SteelSeries Prime+ 62490 is a wired gaming mouse built for competitive first-person shooters. It weighs 71g and uses a right-handed shape co-developed with esports professionals. The TrueMove Pro+ optical sensor delivers 18000 CPI, 450 IPS and 50G acceleration with an adjustable lift-off distance. Five buttons and a USB interface complete the core specification.

Prestige Optical Magnetic switches

The Prestige Optical Magnetic switches replace traditional mechanical contacts with infrared actuation and neodymium magnets. This design eliminates debounce and lag while maintaining a consistent click feel rated for 100 million presses. On-board controls let you adjust polling rate, RGB lighting, lift-off distance and CPI steps without installing any software on the host system.

Verify USB port and firmware

Confirm your system has an available USB port for the wired connection. The mouse requires the latest firmware installed via SteelSeries Engine to enable all on-board customisation features. Left-handed users should note the shape is optimised for right-hand grip only.
