Compact Esports Mouse

The SteelSeries Prime Mini 62421 is a wired gaming mouse built for competitive FPS players who prefer a smaller right-handed shell. Its 61g weight and TrueMove Pro optical sensor with 18000 DPI resolution deliver 1:1 tracking at up to 450 IPS and 50G acceleration. Prestige OM optical magnetic switches are rated for 100 million clicks with consistent actuation.

Compatibility Check

Verify your system runs Windows, Mac, Linux or Xbox and has a free USB-A port for the detachable Super Mesh cable. SteelSeries Engine 3.15.1 or newer is required to remap the five programmable buttons, adjust DPI steps or configure the single-zone RGB scroll wheel. The mouse stores profiles on-board for plug-and-play use on other machines.

Build & Cable

A matte black ergonomic chassis targets claw and fingertip grip styles with full PTFE feet for low-friction glide. The 2m Super Mesh USB-C to USB-A cable detaches at the mouse for drag-free movement and easy transport. Optical magnetic switches eliminate metal debounce delay and maintain a crisp click feel over the full 100 million click lifespan.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Prime Mini 62421 and do I need to buy a cable separately?

The box includes the 61g mouse, a detachable 2m Super Mesh USB-C to USB-A cable, a quick start guide, a warranty card and a product registration card. No extra cable purchase is required.

Should I choose the 18000 DPI setting or a lower one for competitive FPS play?

The TrueMove Pro sensor supports up to 18000 DPI with 450 IPS and 50G acceleration; most competitive players set a much lower DPI in SteelSeries Engine for precise control and raise it only for specific scenarios.

How does the 61g weight and Prestige OM switches feel during long sessions?

At 61g the right-handed shell reduces fatigue for claw and fingertip grips, while the optical magnetic switches keep the same crisp actuation across 100 million clicks without double-click issues.
