Ultra-lightweight wireless mouse

The SteelSeries Prime Mini Wireless is a 73g optical gaming mouse built for competitive players who value low mass and cable-free freedom. Its TrueMove Air sensor delivers 18000 CPI, 400 IPS and 40G acceleration with tilt tracking to keep aim steady during fast flicks. Prestige OM switches use neodymium magnets and steel torsion springs for crisp, consistent clicks rated to 100 million actuations.

Compatibility check

Verify that your system has an available USB port for the Quantum 2.0 wireless receiver and that your operating system supports standard HID mouse drivers. The mouse charges via USB-C, so a free port or powered hub is needed for the fast-charge cable. No additional software is required for basic operation, though SteelSeries GG unlocks sensor tuning and button remapping.

Sustained load behaviour

A full charge provides over 100 hours of uninterrupted 1000 Hz gameplay, and 15 minutes of fast charging restores roughly 40 hours of play time. The optical magnetic switches maintain identical click feel across the full 100 million click rating without degradation. Quantum 2.0 wireless keeps latency stable during long sessions thanks to its power-efficient, interference-resistant transmission.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Prime Mini Wireless and what must be purchased separately?

The box contains the 73 g mouse, the Quantum 2.0 wireless receiver and a USB charging cable. No extra accessories are required for 1000 Hz wireless play.

Which version of the Prime Mini Wireless should I choose?

Only one version exists — the black 62426 model with the TrueMove Air sensor, Prestige OM switches and 100-hour battery — so there is no capacity or colour choice to make.

What does the 18000 CPI rating mean in actual gameplay?

The TrueMove Air sensor delivers true 1-to-1 tracking up to 18000 CPI, 400 IPS and 40 G acceleration, so every micro-adjustment and fast flick registers without smoothing or tilt error.
