Medium thick cloth gaming surface

The SteelSeries QcK Medium Thick Cloth Gaming Surface provides a micro-woven cloth optimised for both optical and laser sensors. Its high thread count delivers consistent tracking accuracy across the surface. The medium dimensions suit desk setups where a full-size pad is not required. Competitive players and everyday users gain a stable glide without needing a larger footprint.

Capacity and headroom

The cloth construction absorbs minor spills and resists fraying during extended sessions. Tracking performance remains steady for fast swipes and low-sensitivity aiming. The surface runs out of usable area only when broad, sweeping motions exceed the medium width. Heavy wrist pressure over time may compress the foam base slightly, altering glide feel.

Build quality and daily implications

Durable stitching and a washable finish allow simple cleaning with mild soap and water. The non-slip rubber base keeps the pad anchored during rapid movements. Thick foam adds cushioning for wrist comfort during long matches. The black colour hides minor stains, maintaining a clean appearance without frequent deep cleaning.

Questions about this item

Will the micro-woven cloth surface maintain consistent tracking with my older optical mouse?

The high thread count and smooth surface optimise tracking accuracy for both optical and laser sensors, so an older optical mouse will perform reliably.

How can I verify the pad is delivering peak tracking and stability after I place it on my desk?

Move the mouse in quick swipes and slow arcs; the cursor should follow without jitter or lift-off issues, confirming the surface is working as intended.

Does the package include any cleaning solution or only the cloth pad itself?

The box contains the QcK Medium Thick cloth gaming surface; cleaning solution is not included, but the pad is washable with water and mild soap.
