XXL desk coverage

The SteelSeries QcK XXL 63429 is an extra-large cloth mouse pad that spans 15.75 by 35.43 inches. It covers a full desktop so keyboard, mouse and monitor stand share one continuous surface. Gamers who want uninterrupted tracking space across a wide area will find it fits that need. The pad is new and ships in black.

Cloth surface limits

The micro-woven cloth is tested by the leading sensor manufacturer for optical and laser mice. High thread count gives consistent glide and accurate tracking across the whole 35 inch width. The surface does not add any electronic features or lighting. Users who need a hard plastic or hybrid surface for a different feel will not get that here.

Capacity and headroom

At 16 by 35 inches the pad handles broad mouse sweeps and a full-size keyboard without running out of room. Thickness of .08 inches keeps the profile low while the non-slip rubber base prevents shifting during fast movements. Builders with very deep desks or multi-monitor arms that overhang the front edge may find the 15.75 inch depth does not reach the monitor base.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the XXL size or a smaller QcK model?

The XXL measures 15.75 by 35.43 inches and 0.08 inches thick, covering keyboard, mouse and monitor base on most desks; smaller QcK pads leave parts of the desktop exposed.

What does the 0.08 inch thickness feel like in daily use?

At two millimetres the pad sits nearly flush with the desk, giving a firm, consistent glide without a raised edge that catches wrists or keyboard feet.

How does the non-slip rubber base keep the pad in place?

The full rubber underside grips the desk surface so the cloth top stays fixed during fast swipes, preventing the whole mat from shifting during play.
