Lightweight design for competitive play

The SteelSeries Rival 3 G2 Gaming Mouse White weighs 77g and uses a TrueMove Core 8.5K DPI optical sensor for 1-to-1 tracking. It targets players who want a light, wired mouse with near-instant click response. Buyers who need wireless freedom or a heavier, ergonomic shape should look elsewhere.

Low latency clicks and durable switches

Click latency is measured at 1.35ms, and the switches are rated for 60 million clicks to keep the feel consistent over time. The Super Mesh paracord cable reduces drag during fast swipes. No thermal, noise or power-draw data is provided for this peripheral.

PTFE feet and three-zone RGB lighting

100% PTFE feet deliver a smooth glide across mouse pads, while 3-zone RGB illumination lets you customise the look. The box includes the mouse and a product information guide; no additional software or accessories are bundled.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SteelSeries Rival 3 G2 Gaming Mouse and what step do people often miss?

Plug the Super Mesh paracord USB cable into a free port; the mouse is recognised instantly. The step many skip is installing SteelSeries GG software to configure the TrueMove Core 8.5K DPI sensor, polling rate and 3-zone RGB lighting.

What maintenance or replacement will the Rival 3 G2 need later?

The 100% PTFE feet will wear down after extended use on rough pads; replacement feet sets are available. Switches are rated for 60 million clicks, so they rarely need attention during the mouse's normal lifespan.

What limit appears first during long gaming sessions with the Rival 3 G2?

The 77 g ultra-lightweight shell can transmit hand fatigue faster than heavier mice during marathon sessions, especially if you use a claw grip that loads the fingers continuously.
