Precision Dual-Sensor Tracking

The SteelSeries Rival 600 is a wired gaming mouse built around the TrueMove3+ dual optical sensor system. A primary sensor delivers true 1:1 tracking at up to 12000 CPI and 350 IPS, while a dedicated depth sensor provides a .5 to 2 mm adjustable lift-off distance. The design targets competitive esports players who demand consistent, pixel-precise control in fast-paced titles.

256 Weight Configurations

The adjustable weight system includes eight 4 g blocks that shift the total mass between 96 g and 128 g across 256 centre-of-gravity combinations. This suits players who fine-tune balance for specific grip styles or game genres. Buyers who prefer a fixed ultra-light shell or a wireless connection should look at other models.

Seven Programmable Buttons

Seven fully programmable buttons use split-trigger mechanical switches rated for 60 million clicks, offering ample binds for FPS, MOBA and battle-royale setups. The scroll button adds another input without clutter. Users needing a higher button count for complex MMO macros will find the layout restrictive.

Questions about this item

What USB port does the Rival 600 need to work?

The mouse connects through a standard USB port using the detachable braided cable included in the box.

Will the Rival 600 feel different if I keep using my current mousepad?

The full PTFE feet provide ultra-smooth gliding on most surfaces, and the TrueMove3+ sensor tracks at 350 IPS with a 0.5-2mm adjustable lift-off distance.

How do I confirm the TrueMove3+ sensor is tracking correctly after setup?

Move the mouse and verify 1:1 cursor response without acceleration; the dedicated depth sensor controls lift-off distance down to 0.5 mm.
