Stens 435-325 Start Solenoid for Mower Repair

This Stens start solenoid replaces OEM parts from AYP, Husqvarna, Ariens and Snapper. It is designed for mowers that use a grounded-through-terminal solenoid with a non-grounded base. The component restores reliable starting on compatible outdoor power equipment.

Installation Requirements and Fit

The solenoid mounts using its base and connects through the terminal that carries the ground path. It fits machines specified by the listed OEM numbers and frees the electrical system from a faulty starter circuit. Buyers needing a different grounding style or voltage rating should verify specifications before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the Stens 435-325 solenoid overheat when the starter is cranked repeatedly?

The solenoid is grounded through its terminal rather than the base, which limits heat buildup during repeated cranking cycles.

How much current does the Stens 435-325 draw while the engine runs all day?

It only draws current during the brief starting sequence; once the engine is running the solenoid coil is de-energised and consumes no power.
