Versatile Walking Stick Chair

The Ta-Da Chair S2 combines a hiking stick and a folding seat in one aluminium frame. It converts with a snap so users can rest during hikes, while fishing or waiting for a photo opportunity. The M size suits people between 5'4" and 5'9". It is not a medical device and not an ordinary chair.

Lightweight Aluminium Build

Aircraft-grade aluminium keeps the weight at 990 grams, well under the 2.2 lb mark. The frame supports up to 300 lb or 136 kg and meets European EN 581 and Taiwan CNS 15192 standards. An ergonomic handle with textured grip reduces effort while walking. Anti-slip rubber feet add stability on varied ground.

Sustained Outdoor Use

The reinforced dual structure holds the rated load continuously during extended rests. Folded dimensions of 87 cm by 8.5 cm by 9 cm stay compact in a pack. Seat width is 8.5 cm. Users must sit centred facing the handle with hands between the legs for safety. The product serves walkers who need occasional seating, not full-time camp furniture.

Questions about this item

How do I deploy the STEP2GOLD 12087BL from walking stick to seat without pinching my fingers?

Hold the ergonomic handle, press the release button, and let the three aluminium legs snap open; keep fingers clear of the hinge joints until the frame locks rigid.

Which parts of the Ta-Da Chair S2 will wear first and need replacement?

The rubber ferrule on the tip and the nylon seat fabric are the only consumable items; both can be swapped in minutes with standard accessories.

At what load does the 34.2-inch M-size frame reach its certified limit during prolonged use?

The dual-stability structure is tested to EN 581 and CNS 15192 for a maximum static load of 300 lb (136 kg); sustained sitting at that weight is the design ceiling.
