Ready-to-play desktop for 1440p and 4K gaming

This STORMCRAFT tower ships with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, 32GB DDR5 6000MHz memory, a Zotac RTX 5070 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7, and a 2TB NVMe Gen 4.0 SSD. Windows 11 Home Advanced is pre-installed on an AMD B850 motherboard inside the CFV220 case. The 850W 80+ Gold power supply and 360mm AIO liquid cooling support sustained high loads.

PCIe x16 slot and 850W Gold PSU set the upgrade

The graphics card occupies a single PCI Express x16 slot and draws power from the 850W 80+ Gold unit. Further GPU upgrades must stay within that power envelope and the physical length allowed by the CFV220 chassis. The B850 chipset provides one CPU-attached NVMe Gen 4.0 lane for the boot drive; additional M.2 devices will share chipset bandwidth. No monitor is included.

Pre-built and tested; check drive seating

The system arrives fully assembled with the 360mm AIO mounted and all cables routed. First boot may require a BIOS update on the MSI B850 board for optimal Ryzen 7 9800X3D stability. Verify the 2TB NVMe SSD is firmly seated in its M.2 slot after transit. The 32GB DDR5 kit runs at 6000MHz; enable EXPO in BIOS to reach rated speed.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz kit or look for a 64 GB option?

The system ships with a single 32 GB DDR5 6000 MHz module, leaving three DIMM slots free on the B850 board so you can add another 32 GB stick later if you need 64 GB total.

What does the 96 MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D actually do for my games?

That 96 MB L3 cache sits on the 8‑core chip and keeps hot game data on‑die, cutting memory latency so frame rates stay higher and 1 % lows improve noticeably in CPU‑bound titles.

Will the PCIe 4.0 x16 slot limit the Zotac RTX 5070's 16 GB GDDR7 bandwidth?

The card runs at PCIe 4.0 x16 on this B850 platform; real‑world throughput is capped at the slot's 4.0 ceiling, but the 16 GB GDDR7 frame buffer handles texture loads locally so gaming impact is minimal.
