System overview

This STORMCRAFT VALKYRIE tower is a complete gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics. It ships with 32GB DDR5 memory, a 1TB SSD and Windows 11 pre-installed. A keyboard and mouse are included so the system is ready to use once a monitor is connected.

Graphics specification

The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT provides 8 GB GDDR7 video memory on a PCI Express x16 interface. This GPU is marked Virtual Reality Ready, indicating it meets the baseline performance for VR headsets. Buyers who want more video memory or a different GPU architecture should consider other configurations.

Installation notes

The PC arrives assembled with an AIO 360mm liquid cooler and an 850W gold-rated power supply already installed. No internal assembly is required beyond placing the tower and attaching peripherals. The motherboard uses an AM5 socket with AMD B850 chipset, so future CPU upgrades must match that platform.

Questions about this item

How does the 20 MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D affect real-world gaming performance?

The 20 MB L3 cache on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D reduces memory latency, which helps maintain higher and more consistent frame rates in CPU-limited gaming scenarios.

What does the PCI Express x16 graphics interface mean for the Radeon RX 9070 XT in this system?

The PCI Express x16 interface provides the full bandwidth link between the Radeon RX 9070 XT and the B850 motherboard, so the GPU is not limited by the slot.

What space is required for the AIO 360mm liquid cooler in this tower?

The AIO 360mm liquid cooler requires a 360 mm radiator mounting area, typically on the top or front of the tower case, with clearance for the pump block on the CPU socket.
