Super Heavy Duty 150ft Clothesline Kit

The Strata CS79180 kit supplies a 150-foot galvanised steel cable with silver PVC coating for outdoor or indoor line drying. It is designed for homeowners who want a durable, rust-resistant alternative to electric tumble dryers.

Pulley Winch Hooks Spreader Included

Two 6.5-inch metal pulleys, a mini winch tightener, a plastic spreader and two metal hooks arrive in the box so the line can be tensioned and guided without extra hardware. The winch lets you join and tighten the cable ends after threading through both pulleys.

150 Foot Span Heavy Load Capacity

The 4.4-pound cable extends to its full 150-foot length and maintains high holding power when stretched tight for bulky linens or heavy wet garments. It is not suited for spans longer than the supplied cable or for permanent structural loads beyond line drying.

Questions about this item

How often should the PVC coating on the 150 ft galvanized steel wire be inspected for wear?

Inspect the PVC coating at least once per season for cracks or abrasion; replace the wire if the galvanized steel core becomes exposed to prevent rust.

What component limits the line tension when the kit is fully extended to 150 ft?

The 6.5 inch pulleys and metal mini winch tightener determine the maximum safe tension; do not exceed the winch's mechanical advantage.

Does the metal mini winch or the 6.5 inch pulleys generate noticeable noise during daily operation?

The metal pulleys and winch may produce light metallic sound under load; lubricate moving parts periodically to minimise noise.
