1-1/2 in Copper DWV Street Elbow
This Streamline 7431 fitting redirects copper drain waste and vent lines at a 45 degree angle. It joins a 1 1/2 inch nominal tube on the cup end to the same size on the fitting end. The wrot copper construction suits potable water and air distribution systems. It is supplied in new condition without pre-cleaning.
Thermal and pressure limits
The copper body withstands a maximum operating temperature of 250 degrees F in normal service. No moving parts or electrical components are present so the fitting adds no noise or power draw to the installation. Thermal expansion follows standard copper behaviour within the rated temperature range.
Pre-cleaning and ordering notes
The fitting is not pre-cleaned so the installer must prepare both joint surfaces before soldering or brazing. Orders valued at 75 or more qualify for free shipping from the supplier. No additional accessories or software are included with the elbow.

Questions about this item
How do I install the 45 degree street elbow and which connection goes where?
Side A is an FTG fitting that slides into a female copper socket, while Side B is a cup fitting that accepts a 1 5/8 in tube; solder the cup end to the pipe and push the FTG end into the mating fitting.
What maintenance will the copper elbow need after installation?
Wrot copper requires no routine maintenance; inspect joints periodically for corrosion or leaks and replace the fitting only if damage or pitting appears.
What temperature limit applies during continuous hot water use?
The fitting is rated to a maximum operating temperature of 250 degrees F, so sustained service above that level is not supported.
