Premium Topwater Lure

The Strike King KVD Sexy Dawg Hard Knock is a professional-grade topwater lure designed for anglers targeting aggressive surface strikes. Its large profile and Bone colour scheme create a visible silhouette that triggers reaction bites in open water or around structure.

Deeper Knocking Sound

The defining feature is the Hard Knock acoustic chamber that produces a deeper, lower-frequency knock than standard rattles. This sound profile travels further through choppy water and helps fish locate the lure in low-light conditions.

Anchovy Scent Formula

The lure body is infused with an anchovy flavour and scent that masks human odour and adds a chemical trigger once a fish commits. The attractant stays active through repeated casts and reduces the chance of short strikes turning into missed hook-sets.

Questions about this item

How does the 5/8 oz weight affect casting distance and action on the water?

The 5/8 oz weight provides enough mass for long casts with standard bass tackle while keeping the lure riding high for a loud, side-to-side walking action on the surface.

What does the Hard Knock sound chamber do compared to a standard rattle?

The Hard Knock chamber uses a single large weight to produce a deeper, duller thud that travels farther through water than higher-pitched BB rattles, triggering strikes in low light or chop.

Will the 665 Bone colour pattern match the hatch in clear water?

The 665 Bone finish is a translucent white with subtle scale detail that mimics shad and herring bellies, making it effective in clear water when fish are keyed on baitfish silhouettes.
