Professional Topwater Lure

The Strike King KVD Splash in Sexy Shad White is a large synthetic hardbait built for topwater fishing. Its flat-sided design creates an erratic thumping action that mimics distressed baitfish. Premium components include a feather-enhanced rear treble hook and 3D eyes with ultra-realistic paint. This single lure targets anglers pursuing big fish on the surface.

Tackle and Rod Compatibility

Verify your rod action and line weight suit a large topwater hardbait before ordering. The flat-sided profile requires a steady retrieve cadence to produce the intended thumping motion. Ensure your terminal tackle can accommodate the premium rear treble hook supplied with the bait. This lure is not for anglers needing a subsurface presentation or a smaller profile for finesse situations.

Topwater Arsenal Integration

The KVD Splash adds a distinct chugging and walking action to a topwater rotation alongside walk-the-dog and wake baits. Its large size and synthetic construction withstand repeated strikes from aggressive fish. The realistic finish reduces the need for frequent lure changes when fish are keyed in on shad patterns. It frees up space by covering the erratic thumping niche that slimmer pencils cannot replicate.
