Hall-effect magnetic switches with 0.1-3.4 mm adjustable actuation, 0.005 mm precision, 8000 Hz polling and 98 % 101-key layout
The Strikonx Hero 99 is a wired gaming keyboard built around Hall Effect magnetic switches. Its 101-key layout keeps a number pad while saving desk space compared to full-size boards. The adjustable rapid trigger range runs from 0.1 to 3.4 mm with 0.005 mm precision. An 8000 Hz polling rate and 128000 Hz scan rate deliver 0.125 ms latency for competitive play.
A gasket-mounted structure and plastic case provide a consistent typing feel across the 98% layout. Switches are hot-swappable so they can be changed without soldering, extending the board’s usable life. The fixed USB-C cable guarantees a stable wired connection with no wireless drop-outs. RGB backlighting and a dedicated lightbox are configured through a Windows-only web driver at soaidriver.com.
The single specification that decides fit is the adjustable actuation window of 0.1 to 3.4 mm. Buyers who need a fixed actuation point or prefer traditional mechanical click feedback will not benefit from this design. The web driver enables per-key remapping, macros, DKS, MT, TGL, SOCD, MPT and END functions, but it runs only on Windows.

The keyboard runs at 8000 Hz polling over its wired USB-C link, giving a 0.125 ms ultra-low latency ceiling.
The board uses standard MX-compatible stems on a gasket-mounted plate, so any MX-stem keycap set and MX-style magnetic switch will seat correctly.
Open soaidriver.com in a Windows browser, connect the keyboard via USB-C, set each key's RT value between 0.1 and 3.4 mm, then save — the new actuation points write directly to the board.
