Oversize Silicone Mat for Hot Tools

The Suafrnut SF09 measures 12.0 x 9.0 inches and weighs .43 lb, providing a large surface that holds several styling tools at once. It is intended for anyone who uses curling irons, flat irons or hot brushes and wants to protect countertops from heat damage.

Heat Resistance Up to 482 Degrees

The silicone material withstands temperatures up to 482 F (250 C) during prolonged contact with hot appliances. It remains flexible and does not degrade when tools are left resting on the surface for extended periods.

Double-Side Wave Texture and Elastic Loop

A textured pattern on both sides grips the countertop and prevents tools from sliding while they cool. An integrated elastic loop secures wrapped irons so the mat can be rolled up and stored in a drawer or bag immediately after use.

Questions about this item

Does the 12.0 x 9.0 in mat get hot or emit any smell when a 482 °F flat iron rests on it all morning?

The silicone is rated to 482 °F (250 °C) so it will not melt or scorch, and the material does not release odour during normal styling sessions.

What surface must I already have for the 12.0 x 9.0 in mat to grip properly?

The double-side wave texture grips smooth countertops, vanity tops, bathroom tiles or any clean, flat surface without sliding.

Will the elastic loop on the 12.0 x 9.0 in mat hold the barrel of my older curling wand?

The elastic silicone loop stretches to secure most standard-size wands and irons after they are wrapped in the mat.
