Product Identity

The SUBRTEX bath rug measures 18" x 24" and uses 100% polyester chenille at 1400GSM with a .6" pile. It is machine-made in a modern style and finished in a beige/off-white colourway. The rectangular runner suits bathroom, kitchen, entryway or living-room use.

Backing and Safety Limits

Hot-melt adhesive replaces traditional rubber backing, providing grip that survives repeated washing without cracking or peeling. The supplier notes a risk of slipping in damp conditions, so the underside must be kept dry during use. No rubber layer means the mat stays thinner and lighter at 11.99 ounces.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Measure the intended floor area to confirm the 18 by 24 inch footprint fits your layout. Plan for machine washing and spin-drying only; tumble drying is not recommended to preserve texture and shape. Ensure the floor surface is compatible with adhesive-backed mats and that the area can be kept dry underneath.

Questions about this item

How do I decide between the 18" x 24" size and other sizes in the SUBRTEX range?

This runner measures 18 by 24 inches and weighs 11.99 ounces; choose it for smaller bathrooms, entryways or kitchen spots where a compact rectangular mat fits best.

What does the 1400GSM and .6" pile mean once the rug is on the floor?

The 1400GSM chenille creates a dense .6-inch pile that feels thick underfoot, insulates against cold tile and absorbs water quickly without flattening.

What backing standard is used and what does it limit in daily use?

Hot-melt adhesive replaces rubber backing, giving grip that survives machine washing without cracking, but the bottom must stay dry to prevent slipping on wet floors.
