Watercolor Paper Specifications

This SuFly SF-P25929 pack contains 64 sheets of 140 lb cold press watercolor paper. Each sheet measures 5 by 7 inches and weighs approximately 0.449 kilograms in total. The acid-free material helps preserve artwork and reduces bleed-through during painting. It suits artists, students, and beginners working with water-based media.

Intended Users and Limitations

The paper is designed for watercolor painting, sketching, and dry media layering on a heavyweight surface. Its small 5x7 format fits detailed studies and portable practice sessions. Buyers who need larger sheets for expansive compositions should look at other formats. The loose sheets are not bound into a pad, so users wanting a sketchbook-style product will prefer a different style.

Deciding Specification

The 140 lb cold press weight determines how much water the surface can hold without buckling. This heavyweight texture supports wet washes and layered pigment better than lighter papers. If your technique requires a smoother hot press finish or a lighter weight for quick sketches, this specification will not match those needs.
