PAR16 Short-Neck LED for Track and Recessed Fixtures

This PAR16 short-neck LED replaces a 50 W incandescent while drawing far less power. It delivers 500 lumens of 2700 K warm white light through an E26 base. The directional reflector design suits track lighting, recessed cans, desk lamps and display cases where focused illumination is needed.

Simple Screw-In Installation

Installation is a direct screw-in to any E26 lampholder; no wiring changes or special tools are required. The dimmable driver works with compatible leading-edge or trailing-edge dimmers, though flicker or limited range can occur on older dimmer models not rated for LED loads. The short neck fits shallow housings where long-neck PAR lamps would protrude.

500 Lumens With 25 000-Hour Rated Life

At 500 lumens the bulb comfortably lights small accent areas, artwork or task surfaces. It is not suited for general room lighting or high-ceiling applications where higher lumen output is required. The 25 000-hour rating reduces replacement frequency, and the LED technology uses roughly 75 percent less energy than the incandescent it replaces.

Which version of this PAR16 should I choose for a 50 W replacement?

The 40983-SU model is the 50 W equivalent, delivering 500 lumens at 2700K with a short neck and E26 base; no other wattage or colour-temperature versions are listed for this product.
