Hot Surface Igniter for 120V Systems

The SUPCO IG4000 is a silicon carbide hot surface igniter designed as an OEM replacement for gas-fired equipment operating on 120V AC. It suits technicians and maintenance staff who need a direct‑swap component with a flat‑tip probe measuring 2 1/4 in.

Hardwired Connection with 24in Leads

The unit arrives with 24 in lead wires rated for 300 Degrees F maximum insulation temperature, allowing a hardwired installation without extra connectors. This length gives routing flexibility inside furnace cabinets while keeping the probe clear of moving parts.

Upgrades Worn‑Out Silicon Carbide Igniters

It replaces failed or degraded silicon carbide igniters that no longer reach reliable ignition temperature. The jump is worth it when the existing element shows cracking, high resistance or intermittent lighting, restoring consistent start‑up without changing the control board.
