Magnetic Umbrella Kit for HVAC Technicians

The SUPCO MUKIT Magnetic Umbrella Kit provides a portable shade and rain shelter for technicians working on outdoor HVAC equipment. A heavy-duty earth magnet secures the base to any metal housing, while the base swivels and locks to adjust the canopy angle. The kit includes the umbrella, magnetic base, and a lanyard for additional security.

Replaces Improvised Tarps and Hand-Held Umbrellas

This kit upgrades from makeshift covers that slip or require a free hand to hold. The magnetic attachment frees both hands for tool use and the swivelling base tracks the sun or wind direction. The jump is worth it when daily rooftop or pad-mounted service calls expose the technician and diagnostic tools to direct sun or sudden rain.

Sustained Exposure on Metal HVAC Housings

Under continuous rooftop heat the 60 canopy blocks solar load on the technician and prevents tool overheating during extended diagnostic sessions. The waterproof fabric and flexible fiberglass ribs shed repeated downpours without pooling, while the locked swivel base resists vibration from running compressors. The lanyard adds a secondary tether if the magnetic bond is challenged by high wind gusts.
