Bat Boy wind-up tricycle

This Super7 action figure pairs a 5 inch soft vinyl Bat Boy with a blue plastic tricycle driven by a tin wind-up gearbox. The mechanism propels the trike forward while ringing its integrated bell. It is an original character design by Brian Flynn and is rated for ages 14 and up. Collectors of designer vinyl toys will appreciate the whimsical forest-rider theme.

Capacity and headroom

The wind-up mechanism delivers a single play cycle per winding, driving the tricycle across flat surfaces until the spring unwinds. The bell rings continuously while the gearbox is in motion, adding an audible element to the display. The soft vinyl rider is fixed in the seated position, so the figure cannot be posed or removed for separate play.

Upgrade context

This piece replaces static vinyl figures that lack kinetic features, adding movement and sound to a shelf display. The jump is worth it for buyers who want a self-propelled collectible with a vintage tin-toy aesthetic. It is not suited for collectors seeking articulated figures, interchangeable accessories or battery-powered automation.

Will the Bat Boy figure fit on shelves with other 5-inch retro-style vinyl figures?

The soft vinyl Bat Boy and its blue tricycle measure about 5 inches tall, matching the scale of many vintage-inspired 5-inch collectibles.

How can I confirm the wind-up mechanism and bell are working correctly?

Wind the tin gearbox, set the trike on a flat surface, and it should roll forward while the bell rings continuously during motion.

Does the package include the Bat Boy rider and the blue tricycle together, or are they sold separately?

The box contains the complete Super Cycle — brown soft-vinyl Bat Boy seated on the blue plastic tricycle with tin wind-up gearbox, colorful wheels, and bell — as a single assembled unit.
