A 1U barebone server supporting a single EPYC 9004 processor, 12 DDR5 DIMM slots, 10 hot-swap 2.5-inch NVMe/SATA/SAS bays and dual 860W Platinum supplies
The Supermicro AS-1115CS-TNR is a 1U barebone server designed for single-socket AMD EPYC 9004 series processors. It targets organisations building dense compute or storage nodes where rack space and power efficiency are primary constraints.
Twelve DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 3TB of ECC memory at 4800MHz. Ten front-accessible 2.5-inch bays accept NVMe, SATA or SAS drives in any mix. Dual 860W Platinum power supplies operate from 100-240Vac or 200-240Vdc and provide full redundancy under supported configurations.
Two OCP 3.0 AIOM slots with NCSI handle networking duties alongside a dedicated IPMI LAN port. Two PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height half-length slots accommodate accelerators or high-speed NICs. Two onboard M.2 slots take 80mm or 110mm NVMe boot devices. Not suited for dual-socket requirements or GPU-heavy workloads beyond the two x16 slots.

The two FHHL slots are PCIe 5.0 x16, so each slot is capped at the 5.0 x16 electrical bandwidth available from the EPYC 9004 processor.
The front panel holds ten 2.5-inch hot-swap bays that accept NVMe, SATA or SAS drives in a hybrid configuration.
Each M.2 slot takes an 80 mm or 110 mm NVMe module at PCIe 3.0 x2; the step often missed is securing the module with the screw and standoff before closing the chassis.
