SAS Backplane Cable for Internal Cascading

The Supermicro CBL-0167L is a SAS backplane cable designed for internal server and storage connectivity. It includes a 1-port cascading cable to link backplanes within a chassis. The 68cm length suits typical rackmount layouts. It targets system integrators building SAS-based storage arrays.

Sustained Signal Integrity Over 68cm

The cable maintains SAS EL2 and EL1 signalling across the full 68cm run without repeaters. Shielding reduces crosstalk during continuous heavy I/O workloads. The cascading port supports daisy-chaining multiple backplanes while preserving link stability. Builders needing longer runs or external connections should choose a different cable.
