12-Bay 2U Rack Server

The Supermicro CSE-826BE1C-R920LPB is a 2U rack-mount server chassis with twelve drive bays and two 920W power supplies. It is built for organisations that need dense, front-accessible storage in a standard rack footprint.

Organisations Needing High-Density Hot-Swap Storage

This system suits IT teams running storage-heavy workloads such as software-defined storage clusters, backup targets or media archives that benefit from twelve hot-swap bays in 2U. It does not suit buyers who need GPU compute density or single-thread performance, as the chassis is designed for drive capacity rather than accelerator cards.

Dual 920W Redundant Power Supplies

Two 920W power modules are included, providing redundant power so the server remains operational if one unit fails. This redundancy is the critical specification for environments where uptime must survive a power-supply fault.
