1U barebone server with LGA-4677 socket, C741 chipset, 16 DDR5 DIMM slots and 10 hot-swap 2.5″ bays
The Supermicro SYS-111C-NR is a 1U server barebone built around the LGA-4677 socket and Intel C741 chipset. It supports a single 4th Gen Xeon Scalable processor with a thermal design power of up to 350W. Sixteen DIMM slots accept DDR5 memory running at up to 4800 MT/s. Redundant platinum-rated 860W power supplies are included.
This platform suits workloads that need high memory capacity and fast front storage in a single rack unit. The ten hot-swap 2.5″ drive bays can be configured with optional NVMe support. Builders who require multiple double-width accelerators or more than two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots should evaluate larger chassis.
The maximum supported memory speed is 4800 MT/s across all sixteen slots, and the board accepts 3DS RDIMM modules. This DIMM count and speed combination sets the practical limit for in-memory datasets on this system.

The redundant 860W Platinum power supplies are hot-swappable, so a failed unit can be replaced without shutting down the server.
The 350W TDP ceiling of the LGA-4677 socket is the primary thermal limit; the 860W redundant PSUs provide headroom well above that figure.
The Platinum-rated 860W redundant PSUs run at high efficiency, reducing waste heat and fan speed during continuous operation.
