1U edge barebone for LGA 1151 CPUs

The Supermicro SYS-5019C-L is a 1U rackmount barebone built around the Intel C242 chipset and a single Socket H4 (LGA 1151). It accepts Xeon E-2100 series processors as well as 8th generation Core i3, Pentium and Celeron CPUs with a thermal design power up to 95W. The platform targets edge deployments that need a compact server chassis with integrated management.

Memory headroom up to 64GB DDR4 ECC

Two UDIMM slots support unbuffered ECC DDR4 at 2666, 2400 or 2133 MHz, giving a maximum capacity of 64GB. That ceiling suits typical edge workloads such as lightweight virtualization or network appliances, but rules out memory-intensive databases or large in-memory caches. Storage connects through four SATA 600 ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 handled by the chipset.

Single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot and dual GbE

Expansion is limited to one full-size PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot, so only a single add-in card such as a GPU, NIC or storage controller can be fitted. Networking provides two Intel I210-AT Gigabit Ethernet ports plus a dedicated RJ45 for IPMI via the Aspeed AST2500 BMC. The 1U form factor fits standard racks, yet the single expansion slot and 95W CPU ceiling constrain high-density compute or multi-card configurations.
