A 1U rack server with dual 18-core Xeon E5-2695 v4 CPUs at 2.1 GHz, 32 GB DDR4 ECC memory, an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller, four 3.5-inch hot-swap SATA/SAS bays.
This 1U rackmount system arrives with two Intel Xeon E5-2695 v4 processors, each running 18 cores at 2.1 GHz with 3.3 GHz turbo. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory are installed across four DIMM slots. A MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB cache and battery backs four hot-plug 3.5-inch SATA/SAS drive bays. Quad 10GBase-T ports and a dedicated IPMI 2.0 management port handle network and remote access.
The dual 18-core CPUs and 10 GbE networking suit virtualisation clusters, HPC nodes or cloud workloads that fit in a single rack unit. Four 3.5-inch bays limit local storage capacity, so environments that require many local disks should consider a different chassis. The Matrox G200 graphics with 8 MB video memory provides only basic console output and cannot accelerate GPU workloads. Buyers needing GPU compute or more than four drive bays should look elsewhere.
The storage subsystem centres on an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i 12 Gb/s SAS controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. Only four 3.5-inch trays are populated and no drives are included, so the buyer must supply SATA or SAS disks. This bay count and controller combination decides whether the server meets a given storage density or redundancy requirement.

The system occupies a single 1U slot in a standard 19-inch rack; rails and front bezel are not included, so you must supply compatible sliding rails and cage nuts.
Yes, the controller supports RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60 across eight SAS 12Gb/s ports and is backward-compatible with 6Gb/s and 3Gb/s SAS or SATA drives in the four hot-plug bays.
Connect the dedicated RJ45 management port to your network, browse to the default IP shown on the BIOS splash screen, and log in to verify sensor readings, KVM-over-LAN and virtual media functions.
