It ships without CPUs, memory or drives so the builder chooses exact specifications for each workload.

Dual LGA 3647 socket decision

The defining specification is the dual LGA 3647 layout with Intel C621 chipset supporting processors up to 165 W TDP each and memory speeds of 2666, 2400 or 2133 MHz DDR4 ECC across twelve DIMM slots. Both sockets must be populated to unlock all PCIe lanes and onboard controllers.

Redundant power and thermal design

Dual 700 W or 750 W redundant power supplies with PMBus monitoring feed the system while four hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays sit in the direct airflow path. The 1U height constrains cooler height so high-TDP chips rely on the chassis fans for sustained operation.
