Dual-processor 1U server

The Supermicro SYS-6019U-TN4R4T is a 1U rackmount server system built for dense data-centre deployments. It ships with two Intel Xeon Silver 4110 processors running at 2.10 GHz with eight cores each and 512 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory. Four 3.5-inch hot-swap bays accept SATA or SAS drives for flexible storage capacity.

Sustained-load behaviour

Redundant 750-watt platinum-efficiency power supplies and hot-swap drive bays keep the platform running during component replacement. The LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB battery-backed cache maintains write performance and data integrity across RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 under continuous I/O. IPMI 2.0 with dedicated LAN enables remote monitoring and KVM-over-LAN without interrupting the host.

Four-bay storage limit

Only four 3.5-inch drive bays are provided, so the chassis cannot hold more than four spinning disks or SSDs. Buyers who need more internal storage bays must choose a different form factor. The included Matrox G200 graphics with 8 MB video memory is sufficient only for console output, not for compute acceleration.

Questions about this item

How much heat and power do the dual 750 W platinum supplies draw when the SYS-6019U-TN4R4T runs 24/7?

Each supply is rated at 750 W with platinum efficiency; actual draw depends on workload but the redundant pair shares the load and hot-swaps without downtime.

Which drives and cables must I already have to populate the four 3.5" hot-swap bays?

The bays accept SATA or SAS 3.5" drives; the MegaRAID 9361-8i provides eight 12 Gb/s SAS ports and 1 GB cache with battery backup.

Will the onboard X540 10GBase-T ports and IPMI 2.0 work with my older Cat 5e patch panel and KVM switch?

The four X540 ports negotiate down to 1 GbE on Cat 5e, and the dedicated RJ45 IPMI 2.0 link works with any standard KVM-over-IP client.
