2U rack server with dual 16-core Xeon processors, 128GB DDR4 ECC memory, twelve 3.5-inch hot-swap drive bays, MegaRAID 9361-8i controller, quad 10GBase-T networking and redundant 1000W power supplies
The Supermicro SYS-6028U-TR4T+ is a 2U rackmount server fitted with two Intel Xeon E5-2683 v4 processors. Each CPU provides 16 cores at 2.1 GHz with a 3.0 GHz turbo frequency. The system ships with 128 GB of DDR4 2400 MHz registered ECC memory installed across eight modules. It is aimed at virtualization hosts, database clusters and cloud workloads that demand high core counts and large memory capacity.
The chassis requires two 1000 W hot-swap power supplies and uses a dedicated RJ45 port for IPMI 2.0 management with KVM-over-LAN. Network connectivity is provided by four 10GBase-T RJ45 ports on an Intel X540 controller. Storage uses a MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with 1 GB cache and battery backup, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across twelve 3.5-inch hot-plug SATA or SAS drive bays. No drives, front bezel or rack rails are included.
Dual 1000 W titanium-efficiency power supplies share the load redundantly, keeping voltage stable during continuous multi-threaded workloads. The MegaRAID 9361-8i cache is protected by its battery, preserving write performance and data integrity through extended write-heavy periods. Four 10GBase-T ports maintain high throughput for storage replication or cluster traffic without saturating a single link. IPMI 2.0 allows remote monitoring of thermal and power metrics so operators can react before throttling occurs.

The system ships with two Xeon E5-2683 v4 processors, 128GB DDR4 memory, a MegaRAID 9361-8i controller with battery-backed cache, twelve 3.5-inch drive trays, quad-port 10GBase-T networking and dual 1000W power supplies. Hard drives and front bezel with rack rails are not included.
The unit is already populated with 128GB across eight 16GB DDR4 2400MHz registered ECC modules, leaving sixteen of twenty-four DIMM slots free for future expansion up to the platform maximum of 1.5TB.
The Intel X540 controller provides four RJ45 ports each capable of 10Gb/s over twisted-pair copper, giving up to 40Gb/s aggregate bandwidth for storage replication, virtualization traffic or high-speed backup without requiring SFP+ optics.
