8-inch portable speaker with 15 W output

The Supersonic IQ-6608DJBT is an 8-inch portable speaker delivering 15 W of continuous power and 1000 W peak capacity. It suits listeners who want a single self-contained unit for music playback and voice amplification. The built-in handle and rechargeable lithium battery make it practical for indoor and outdoor use.

Bluetooth range and single-speaker ceiling

Wireless streaming relies on the built-in Bluetooth receiver, so playback stays within standard Bluetooth range and is subject to walls or interference. True Wireless Stereo lets two units link for wider coverage, yet a single speaker cannot exceed its 15 W continuous rating. The 4 ohm impedance and 90 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response define the acoustic limits of one cabinet.

1800 mAh battery and 15 W headroom

The 3.7 V 1800 mAh battery powers the 15 W amplifier and FM radio for a session length that varies with volume level. At moderate output the speaker handles background music and speech reinforcement comfortably. Pushing toward peak levels reduces running time and approaches the thermal and excursion limits of the 8-inch woofer.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 15 W RMS model or the 1000 W peak model?

They are the same speaker. The 15 W figure is the continuous power output. The 1000 W figure is the short-term peak capacity.

What does the 15 W output mean for actual listening volume?

It drives the 8 inch woofer to typical portable-speaker levels, suitable for personal or small-group use indoors or out.

How does Bluetooth limit the 15 W output in practice?

Bluetooth streams audio wirelessly from phones or tablets; the amplifier still delivers up to 15 W RMS to the driver regardless of the wireless link.
