Three-piece speaker system

The SuperSonic SC-1126 is a 3-piece speaker system rated at 25W RMS total output. It comprises a 15W main unit and two 5W satellites. Bluetooth streaming works with phones, tablets and computers. USB and SD slots play files directly. FM radio, rear aux and RCA inputs (cables supplied) add wired sources. A handheld remote controls power, volume, track and input selection.

Bluetooth range and codec limits

Wireless streaming uses standard Bluetooth audio; the practical range is the typical 10 metres in open space and less through walls. Only the SBC codec is guaranteed, so high-resolution files are down-sampled. USB and SD playback depends on the file system and format support built into the unit. FM reception quality varies with local signal strength and antenna positioning.

Build and daily use

The system weighs 6 units and runs from 110V 60Hz mains power, consuming 25W RMS. RCA cables are included for quick hookup to external gear. The remote requires line of sight to the main unit. Bass response extends to 50Hz and treble to 18kHz with a 75dB signal-to-noise ratio. It is not suited for users who need battery operation, multi-room sync or aptX HD support.
