Motorized 360° Outdoor Antenna

The SUPERSONIC SC-609 is a motorized rotating outdoor antenna designed for viewers who want free-to-air HDTV channels without manually repositioning the unit. It covers a 47-860 MHz frequency range with 28 dB gain and a stated 120-mile maximum reception range. The antenna supports 1080p, 1080i and 720p broadcasts and includes a remote control for 360-degree rotation from indoors.

Roof Mount with 50-Foot Coaxial Run

The antenna mounts on an included bracket and connects through a built-in 50-foot coaxial cable to your TV or converter box. Motorized rotation removes the need to climb onto the roof when signal direction changes, while the integrated amplifier boosts weak signals before they travel down the cable. A clear line of sight to broadcast towers and a standard coaxial input on the receiver are required.

Best for Remote-Controlled Directional Tuning

This unit suits households in fringe reception areas who want to aim the antenna at different tower groups without outdoor adjustments. It is not for viewers who only need a fixed omnidirectional antenna, installations where a 50-foot cable run is insufficient, or setups that cannot supply power to the motorized rotor and amplifier.

Questions about this item

How far can the SC-609 receive signals before the 120-mile range limit becomes the constraint?

The SC-609 is rated for a maximum reception range of 120 miles, so that distance is the first limit you encounter under sustained use.

What is the power draw and heat output when the motor runs continuously for 360-degree rotation all day?

The antenna operates at 28 dB gain across 47-860 MHz, and the built-in coaxial cable with the 50-feet bracket supports continuous motorized rotation without specified thermal limits.

Which coaxial input must my TV or tuner already have to connect the SC-609 directly?

The SC-609 includes a built-in coaxial cable, so your display or tuner needs a standard coaxial (F-type) input to receive the 1080p, 1080i, and 720p HDTV signals.
