Six-pack black ribbon for dot-matrix printers

This pack contains six black ink ribbons built to fit IBM and Lexmark dot-matrix machines such as the Proprinter 24P, Proprinter X24, Proprinter X24E, PS/1 and 2205 models. Each ribbon is manufactured to match OEM specifications for consistent print quality.

Suits offices running legacy IBM

Buyers maintaining invoicing, receipt or multi-part form workflows on the listed IBM 4207, 4212, 24P, X24, X24E, PS/1 or equivalent Lexmark printers will find a direct drop-in replacement. Shops that have moved to laser, inkjet or thermal printers cannot use these ribbons.

Six ribbons give extended run-time for high-volume

The six-unit quantity reduces change-over frequency during continuous invoice or receipt runs on compatible dot-matrix units. When the ink is depleted the ribbon must be replaced; no refill or re-inking option is provided.

Questions about this item

Which dot-matrix printers accept the SuppliesMax 1040475 ribbon pack?

The pack fits IBM and Lexmark models including the 2205 PS/1, 24P, 4207 Proprinter X24, 4207-002, 4212 Proprinter 24P, 4212-001, Proprinter X24E and PS/1 series.

Will the ribbon work in a legacy IBM Proprinter 4207-002 still in service?

Yes, the 4207-002 Proprinter X24 is listed among the compatible machines, so the ribbon installs and prints normally on that legacy unit.

How can I verify the ribbon is performing correctly after installation?

Print a test page; sharp, even black characters on receipts or invoices with no fading or smudging confirm the ribbon is seated properly and feeding ink as intended.
