Six-ribbon pack for Unisys dot matrix printers

This pack contains six black printer ribbons built to match the Unisys 19-1197-870 specification. They fit Unisys UDS-2055, UDS-2070, UDS-2155 and UDS-2177 series printers. The ribbons are intended for businesses that print receipts, invoices and other high-volume documents on dot matrix hardware.

Consistent output with minimal maintenance

Excellent ink retention reduces the frequency of ribbon changes during daily operation. The formulation is designed to deliver sharp, professional text on continuous forms and multi-part paper. Each ribbon is manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities for reliable performance in 110 V environments.

Thirty-day manufacturer warranty included

The supplier backs the pack with a 30-day warranty against defects. Use of these compatible ribbons does not void the printer manufacturer’s warranty under U.S. law. Packaging may vary between shipments without affecting quality or warranty coverage.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ribbon in a Unisys UDS-2055 and what step do people often miss?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new ribbon cartridge until it clicks into the guides, then advance the ribbon manually using the knob to remove slack before closing the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will this ribbon need later?

Each ribbon is a single-use cartridge; when print fades or becomes patchy, replace the entire cartridge — no separate ink refills or roller kits are required.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume printing?

The ribbon ink depletes after extended use, causing faded output; the cartridge must then be replaced to restore sharp, professional print quality.
