Compatible Ribbons for Radio Shack DMP Series

This six-pack of black printer ribbons replaces Radio Shack part 26-1236. It fits dot-matrix models DMP-107, DMP-130, DMP-132, DMP-133, DMP-134 and DMP-135 as well as Schneider LQ-3500, PCW-8112 and PCW-8256 machines. The ribbons are built to match OEM specifications for sharp output on receipts and invoices.

Dot-Matrix Impact Printing Constraints

Dot-matrix ribbons rely on fabric ink transfer, so print density fades gradually rather than stopping abruptly. The mechanism limits resolution to the printer's fixed pin count and cannot reproduce fine graphics or colour. Ribbon life depends on character density and paper thickness, not on a page-count rating.

Check Printer Model and Voltage Before Ordering

Verify that your unit appears in the compatibility list above; the ribbon cassette is not universal across all dot-matrix printers. The product is manufactured for 110 V machines sold in the U.S. and carries a 30-day manufacturer warranty. Confirm the exact model number on your printer label to avoid fitment issues.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the six-pack or a single ribbon for my DMP-132?

The six-pack supplies six black ribbons at once, reducing reorder frequency for high-volume printing on the DMP-132.

What does the OEM part number 26-1236 mean once the ribbon is installed in my Radio Shack DMP-130?

It confirms the ribbon matches the original specifications for the DMP-130, delivering sharp black output for receipts and invoices.

Which printer interface or standard does the 26-1236 ribbon follow, and what does that limit in practice?

The ribbon is built to OEM standards for dot-matrix impact printers, so it fits the DMP-107, DMP-130 series and Schneider LQ-3500 without modification.
