Compatible Ribbon Pack

This six-pack of black printer ribbons is a compatible replacement for Wincor Nixdorf part number 71071.00.8.08. It is built for dot-matrix machines in the 2505-1, 2505-4 and 2505-7 series. The ribbons target businesses that need reliable output for receipts, invoices and high-volume printing tasks.

OEM Ribbon Upgrade

The product replaces original Wincor Nixdorf 71071.00.8.08 ribbons with a compatible alternative manufactured to OEM specifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 facilities. The jump is worth it when you want equivalent print quality and ink retention at a lower per-unit cost. Buyers who need colour output or thermal printing technology cannot use these ribbons.

Easy Cartridge Swap

Installation follows the standard cartridge exchange procedure for the supported 2505 series printers. The ribbons are designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. and use of compatible supplies does not void the printer manufacturer warranty. Misalignment during insertion or using the ribbon in an unsupported printer model usually causes print defects.

Questions about this item

Which Wincor Nixdorf printer models accept the 71071.00.8.08 ribbon cartridge?

This ribbon fits the Wincor Nixdorf 2505-1, 2505-4 and 2505-7 series dot-matrix printers.

What is the common mistake when installing the ribbon in a 2505-series printer?

The ribbon must be threaded between the print head and the platen with the black ink side facing the paper; reversing it produces blank pages.

How often will the ribbon need replacing in high-volume receipt printing?

Excellent ink retention extends life, but a black ribbon is a consumable — plan on swapping it when print density fades or after heavy daily use.
