Compatible Purple Ribbon Pack

This six-pack supplies purple ink ribbons built to match original specifications for a wide range of Olympia dot-matrix printers and several compatible models from other brands. Offices handling receipts, invoices or multi-part forms can keep a ready stock without frequent reordering. The ribbons are new and manufactured to deliver sharp, consistent characters from the first page.

Reliable Output with Minimal Waste

Premium materials and controlled ink retention reduce smudging and extend the usable life of each cartridge in daily printing tasks. Consistent tension prevents snags or uneven feed that can interrupt a print run. The design targets the same operational reliability expected from the original equipment ribbon.

Steady Performance Over Long Runs

Extended print jobs maintain legible output without the fading or skipping that can appear with lower-grade ribbons after a short burst. Each cartridge sustains even ink transfer across continuous forms and multi-copy sets. The 30-day manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 72726P ribbon cartridge and which step causes the most jams?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, and drop the new 72726P ribbon into the guides so the purple fabric sits flat; the step that causes jams is forgetting to tension the ribbon by turning the take-up knob before closing the cover.

When will the purple ribbon need replacement and how can I tell?

Replace the ribbon when print becomes faint or patchy on receipts and invoices; each 72726P cartridge is designed for high-volume dot-matrix output and the six-pack lets you swap cartridges without downtime.

What is the first limit I will hit during continuous printing with these ribbons?

The first limit is ribbon exhaustion — the ink supply runs out before any mechanical part wears, so consistent output depends on monitoring print density and swapping cartridges from the 6-pack when characters fade.
